After the weekend started upside down, the Karting HQ team buckled down the tent and turned the weekend around!
In qualifying Jonathon Marcusson managed a pole position with Jamie Craig coming in a close second. Eryn Osborne unfortunately had a timing issue sending her to the rear of the field.
Heat 1 saw Eryn make a smashing recovery coming from 22nd to 4th. Jonathon finished in second with Jamie following behind in third.
After some close racing in heat 2, Jamie took the chequered flag, Jonathon finished in third and Eryn unfortunately didn’t finish.
The final saw Jonathon pull away from the field and he crossed the line over 8 seconds in front of the field. Jamie battled his way through the race to finish in 4th with Eryn coming closely behind in 5th.
All three drivers are looking forward to racing again once the current situation calms down.
