Jonathon’s Rotax World Finals Wrap Up

What an amazing week we had, full of Highs and lows.

Practice saw us in the top 5 most runs, so we felt confident with the kart and the pace we had heading into Quali

I was on a flying quali lap which would have seen me well inside the top 10 but got caught behind lap traffic which spoiled the plan

Ended up 29th in my group

Not the result we had dreamed of or were capable of .

This meant lots of hard work to get us to the final

First heat our bad luck continued with a kart in front of me having a huge rollover, then a kart took me out trying to avoid that accident…. result Bent kart and bent axle we then experienced electrical and carbies issues, which made our comeback nearly impossible

I fought on but was unable to progress to the final

Dream Over

On to 2023 let’s see if we can do it again
